How It’s Made
Everything we do is made to order, every color, texture, and shape. The simpler a piece looks, the more work went into getting there.
It starts with a conversation.
We work directly with homeowners, architects, designers, and builders to figure out exactly what a space wants. Sometimes that collaboration goes further than expected. One fireplace surround was designed around the tattoo on the client's back, so we brought his tattoo artist into the process too.
We prototype before we pour.
Before anything is made at full scale, we cast a miniature version and send it over for approval. You see the real color and texture in the actual material, not a rendering, and we refine from there. Nothing gets poured for good until it is right.
We cast, and we finish by hand.
Concrete is our primary medium, but rarely our only one. We bring in wood, steel, copper, and glass wherever the design calls for it. Some pieces are monolithic, a single pour where the counter, basin, and drain become one seamless form that reads a foot thick but measures only two inches. Surfaces are troweled by hand, so they carry slight undulations you can feel. That is the honesty of the material, not a flaw in it.
We see it through installation.
We handle every piece through install, aligned to the drawings and to the room it was made for.
Signature techniques
Integrated, monolithic pours. Counter, sink, basin, and drain as one piece, with no seams and no hardware.
Hand-troweled finishes. Surfaces with real texture and character rather than a uniform slab.
Custom mold work, including custom-cast rubber for intricate relief and dimensional detail.
Cast-in-place board-form veneer. Poured on site in a thin profile, up to six thousand square feet on a single project, solving the plumbing and wiring problems of a traditional board-form wall.
Modified rammed earth, built to survive Mountain West winters, with all the beauty of traditional rammed earth and far more durability.
